MATH 6627 2011-12 Practicum in Statistical Consulting/R: Questions and Answers
- Q: When I want to do linear model analysis, I know two build-in functions in R can help me finish the analysis. One is lsfit(), the other is lm(). Both of them can give me the Estimate, the Std.err, the p-value and so on. But, I don't know the difference between these two functions.
Q1: What R functions are available for diagnostics when using lme() and random effects? Q2: What R functions are available to calculate/plot leverage and cook's distance for mixed effects models estimated with lme()
